I have been a martial arts practitioner for over 30 years. Over the years I have seen many many dojos and approaches to teaching karate. Some were good, some were not! I hold black belts in several martial arts and so I have a pretty good idea what right looks like. Whether you are a parent looking for something special and life impacting for your child or an adult that is looking for a way to get fit or perhaps learn self-defense, the Paulos' have got the right recipe! It is very unusual to find two 5th degree black belts in the same dojo. To make it even better, this dojo has two 5th Degree Black Belts, one 3rd Degree Black Belt and three 1st degree black belts. What that means is you or your family member gets lots of dedicated attention from the experts in their martial art. The Paulos' also teach to your own ability. We have several special needs children and adults and their training is adapted to meet them where they are with what they have.
As if that was not enough, this Dojo is part of a much large organization (Kai) that is headed up by a 9th Degree Black Belt. All in all, the Kai has over 40 black belts in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and is a family community in itself.
I highly recommend this Dojo to anyone in the Dallas/Fort Worth - Denton area!

My son has studied karate with Mr. & Mrs. Palos for 10 years in Denton. We have seen him improve in many areas thanks to the skills and self discipline he has acquired through karate. My son has been in this dojo for over 3 years now. The Reshis Palos are wonderful, patient, skilled teachers. They encourage their students to work hard both in and out of the dojo, but to also have fun. You or your child will love learning under their instruction!
